60231-behavior Intervention Specialist

Behavior Intervention Specialists assist in maintaining a consistent, therapeutic environment, through the use of approved interventions. During periods of pre-crisis/crisis, a Behavior Intervention Specialist will intervene#with a supportive intervention that is consistent with the KidsPeace Model of Care and Safe#Crisis Management #guiding principles.# At all other times, Behavior Intervention Specialists will be collecting data, forming therapeutic relationships and reinforcing on-task behavior. Competencies: Associate#s Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college. Minimum one year experience working with a similar population. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. Valid driver#s license, SCM certification, CPR/First Aid certification required. L.S.C.I certification required (internal applicants). External applicants must complete within 6 months of hire. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, flexible hours, and overtime as required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
