5K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago The Medical Appointment Scheduler is primarily responsible for scheduling all client medical appointments referred by the KidsPeace Nursing Department.
This responsibility includes matching client insurances with external medical services providers whenever possible and researching alternative providers as needed, as well as assigning KidsPeace Drivers to transport those appointments in the most safe, efficient and timely manner as possible.
The Medical Appointment Scheduler facilitates pre-authorizations for medical appointments and services as required by the child's insurance carrier and/or KidsPeace contracts with Payers.
Competencies:
High School Graduate or equivalent required; experience in the medical field preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Full Time, M-F Days.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
